Lotus Date Recorder
The Lotus collection is individual in the sense that it can record special dates which are unique for each person. There are 31 small petals as the days, and 12 marquises to indicate the months. A gold marking on one of the petals and one of the marquises corresponds to show the chosen date. The pendant is inspired by a set of earrings from the Achaemenid Empire. The shape of these earrings is taken from the lotus flowers that are engraved on walls in Persepolis. This flower was the symbol of immortality and embodies the sun and the twelve months of the year.
